Valentine's Day!

Thursday, February 14th, we will be hosting a Valentine's Day Program at the Library! Learn about why we celebrate this holiday, listen to stories, make crafts and bring home a treat! Be sure to wear your best Valentine colors!

Junior Book Club

February 12th, kids ages 6-13 are invited to our second monthly Junior Book Club! (Must be an independant reader) The book club will meet in the library after school to talk about our favorite books! Please be ready to tell about your book. Some things to think about could be; why you like it, what your favorite part was, what kind of book it is (fantasy, sci-fi, historical fiction etc.). After our book talk, we'll watch a movie and have some popcorn and juice! Bring all your friends and join us! No fees, no registration necessary, just come and have a blast!

I just wanted to send out a big THANK YOU to all the people who made the Christmas programs at the library such a big success. I met so many new people in the community and felt such a sense of warmth and welcome. Here's to a great New Year in 2008 and to seeing more and more of you at the library for programs year round!
